In the early stage of the industry where the sodium power industry chain is not yet mature, biomass hard carbon has a rapid industrialization speed due to its excellent performance. However, when the industry enters the stage of growth and volume, it is difficult to ensure the stability, low cost and consistency of the raw material supply chain. The current production process of asphalt-based/resin-based hard carbon is more difficult, and the performance is worse than that of biomass-based hard carbon, but its raw material supply is relatively stable, with the breakthrough of precursor research and development technology and the application of other material modification technology, other precursor materials with a wide range of sources and low cost, such as biomass polysaccharides, resin-based, asphalt-based and anthracite-based materials, are expected to come later.
